Michael Kraft

Executive Director

Michael Kraft serves as Executive Director of the North Coast Small Business Development Center .  He leads a team who work to help entrepreneurs succeed and provide a positive impact in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.  His past positions have largely been in higher education administration as a Director, Dean and Vice President.  Michael grew up in a small family business and worked for a Fortune 100 company after college.  When he decided to open his own small company, he became familiar with the North Coast SBDC as one of its clients.  Michael has an MBA from the Claremont Graduate University ’s Drucker School and a BA from the University of California at Riverside .

Staff Accountant and Business Counselor:

Colleen Trask specializes in accounting and bookkeeping help for small businesses, including troubleshooting accounting and bookkeeping problems, and setting up bookkeeping systems for new ventures (QuickBooks, too!)
