The California Construction Contracting Program (CCCP) in partnership with Caltrans and The North Coast Small Business Development Business Center (NCSBDC) provides technical assistance and training to develop and improve the capabilities of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE’s) and assists them in achieving proficiency in the technical skills involved in highway construction. The North Coast SBDC is the coordinating agency for this program in – Business Management activities will be designed to assist in the development and immediate improvement of long-term business management, record keeping, and financial accounting.
– DBE Business Specialist will provide specialized, individual Technical Assistance/Counseling to DBE’s for the purpose of increasing their successful participation in the Federal-aid highway projects and other transportation related contracts.
– Bonding Activities will include assistance to DBE’s from the DBE Specialist to become eligible for financial assistance and obtaining bonding by receiving information about the Small Business Administration’s short-term Lending Program and its Bonding Assistance Program. TRAINING The California Construction Contracting Program training series will improve the technical knowledge, business acumen and construction-related skills to increase your participation in Federal-aid highway projects and other transportation related contracts.
