Business Roots: Farm Business Program Info Session

Do you have or are you starting a new farm?

North Coast SBDC is hosting a winter run of our popular Farm Business Program! Learn fundamental business skills for your farm, including best practices for reaching your North Coast customers, planning your season, setting smart prices, getting familiar with permits and regulations, considering various sales outlets and business models, getting ag financing for land or equipment, exploring climate resilience tools for your farm, food-safe and efficient farm harvesting, washing and storage systems and more. Join a cohort of other motivated farm entrepreneurs and get access to successful local farmers and experienced instructors in this series of courses. You’ll build your own business plan, marketing strategy, bookkeeping systems, and more with one-on-one business advising.

This program is for you if:

  • You are within your first 5 years in business as a farmer and want to improve or grow your business.
  • You are not yet launched but have a clear idea of the farm business you want to start within the next 12 months.
