Michael Balstad  specializes in coaching owners to value their business correctly and plan a sound exit that protects both family and business financial interests. He delivers our "Buying a Business" and "Selling a Business" workshops and is a popular consultant for North Coast clients who want help with succession and exit planning. 

He is the founder of Harvest Transition Solutions™ (bizleavable.com), a company focused on educating and equipping business owners with  knowledge, strategy, and technology to maximize and protect the value of their businesses, reclaim balance in their lives, and ensure that the eventual exit from their business occurs in the time, on the terms, and to whom they choose.

Michael earned his CEPA designation from the Exit Planning Institute®, is a MAUS Certified Adivisor, and is an active member of EPI and other organizations serving the Business Advisory and Exit Planning communities.  He provides related advisory and curriculum/content development services to SBDC Northern California and other technical assistance organizations, delivers workshops and curriculum to varied audiences, and works collaboratively with his own small and lower-middle market business owner clients and their advisors toward outcomes designed to meet their unique financial, spiritual, and legacy-focused objectives.
