In this webinar, Ariel Phillips (co-developer of MIT's D-Lab: Earth) will explore happenings at the intersection of entrepreneurship, biodiversity, poverty, and climate change. We’ll discuss some tools--such as design thinking, monetization, and planetary boundaries--for decision-making in complex contexts. And we’ll discuss ways to take advantage of our remarkable human brains to make sense and make progress, with examples of current projects and strategies. 

The AWEsome Business Competition hosts speakers, workshops, and a final competition (with cash prizes) for community members thinking about, developing, and/or testing business models related to Agriculture, Water, and Energy in Northern California.
