About Me:
Luke Kennedy is the program Coordinator with the North Coast Small Business Development Center. Luke’s background includes 5 years of retail sales at the Tommy Hilfiger Camarillo Outlet, a bachelor’s degree in business administration accounting from Cal Poly Humboldt, and tax accountant experience at local CPA Firms in Humboldt County. After graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt, Luke began his work in economic development with the North Coast SBDC. Since then, Luke has had the opportunity to help entrepreneurs start, prepare, and strategize businesses across Humboldt and Del Norte County.
He has expertise in laying out the foundational steps to starting your business, which often includes licensing, legal structure, financial management, and drafting a business plan. Additional areas of expertise include management, digital marketing strategy, and LLC formation. Starting your business can be a daunting task, but Luke’s goal is to make the process more approachable. Luke aims to make your vision clearer and your venture achievable.
